November started out with resident Phillip being awarded a Quilt of Valor by the Baraboo American Legion Auxiliary for his years of service in the Army. What an honor! There was also a patriotic concert and delicious lunch to commemorate Veterans Day. Stephanie from the Sauk County Humane Society brought a sweet Black Lab and an adorable pup named Nova for fun visits, and everyone always loves it when Murphy and his human, Kathy, come to say hello. Folks played balloon volleyball and “Roll a Scarecrow”, and the Creative Cooking group made yummy baked apple fritters. Some of the gals took a shopping trip to the Dollar Tree and the month ended with Meadow View folks listing all the things they’re thankful for and creating a Thankful Paper Chain with the help of Volunteer Jenna.
