The month started out with a visit from Sauk Humane Society volunteer Stephanie and a little dog named Buckwheat, and later in the month she brought a puppy named Daisy Mae. These four-legged friends are such a joy! The same could be said of the two-legged Student Council members of St. Joseph Catholic Parish School in Baraboo! The students and residents planted seeds together and then played UNO. What a lovely afternoon it was! Irish eyes were smiling when pet therapy friend Murphy and his human, Kathy, came on St. Patrick’s Day. Everyone also enjoyed a party with games and mint milkshakes. On a beautiful weather day, some of the folks played kickball and blew bubbles outside, and others went for lunch at the Log Cabin Restaurant. The month ended with volunteer Stephanie returning, this time as USOA Mrs. Wisconsin. Folks enjoyed a social hour with her and her husband and mother. She also read from her newly published book and answered questions. To view photos, please click on the web album link below.
