The weather in October was gorgeous, so both Meadow Ridge and Meadow View folks went for fall bus rides. Seeing a huge eagle’s nest and bald eagle was amazing! Creativity was on display when staff members put some of the ladies’ hair into adorable little ghost bun hairdos, and when the ladies made a handprint wreath to celebrate Indigenous People’s Day/Columbus Day. Folks made yummy Pumpkin Pie Parfaits in Creative Cooking and had a lovely visit with therapy dog Murphy and his lovely human, Kathy. A big thank you to volunteer Jenna who graciously donated pumpkins for carving, to our staff members who did a great job decorating the activity room, and to all the community families who stopped by for trick-or-treating.
