On June 21st, Meadow Ridge was pleased to welcome staff, volunteers and two ponies from Baraboo River Equine-Assisted Therapies (B.R.E.A.T.H.E.), a local non-profit agency that provides equine-assisted therapy to children and adults with special needs. Residents thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the ponies and learning more about them and the organization! It was especially meaningful for one resident, as she started riding horses at the age of five and used to perform with horses in circuses. Many thanks to B.R.E.A.T.H.E for the visit!
