Our buildings are still closed to non-essential visitors, but that sure isn’t slowing our seniors down! Residents are still communicating with family via Skype or window visits, and had fun decorating eggs for Easter and doing a Mother’s Day memory activity. Resident Millie Peterson also celebrated her 101st birthday on April 9th! She enjoyed cake, lots of birthday cards, fresh flowers, and celebrated with her family all across the country by using Zoom, a video chat software. What a milestone! Happy birthday and best wishes, Millie! Special thank yous go out to the following: the 6th Grade Class at Holy Cross Lutheran School for sending our staff a wonderful, uplifting note; the family of a late resident for making lovely rainbows and cards for us; and to Baraboo Burger Company for delivering meals to our staff on April 13th. We’re all in this together! To view photos, please click on the web album.
