On November 19th, Meadow Ridge, in collaboration with the Baraboo Area Senior Citizen Organization (BASCO), hosted a community event titled ‘Holding Space: Bringing the Moon and Mars to Baraboo.’ Amanda Heinsohn from the University of Wisconsin Geology Museum talked about the Apollo moon landing missions, the Mars rover missions, and the importance of putting humans on Mars. Delicious “out of this world” refreshments were served, and a couple of residents were interviewed about what they remembered from the first moon landing. It was a great event! Many thanks to all who joined in and made the event a success! To view photos, please click on the web album.
