Campus seniors had a fabulous September full of wonderful activities. September 13th – 19th was National Assisted Living Week, so they celebrated by enjoying a number of fun activities including a COVID-safe Hugs & Kisses cart and delicious ice cream delivered by the Vesperman Farms Ice Cream Truck from Lancaster. Staff was recognized with gifts and prize drawings, and the buildings also purchased pizza for the Baraboo EMTs to thank them for their caring, dedicated service. The theme this year was ‘Caring is Essential.’ Special thanks to St. Croix Hospice for the cookies and 3rd Street Nutrition for the energy tea – what a thoughtful idea for staff during Assisted Living Week! Other activities for the month included a scenic bus ride, walking around the block for the Sauk County Alzheimer’s & Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin Virtual Alzheimer’s Walk, and a wedding anniversary celebration for Dennis and Janice, who both reside on the campus. Congratulations to Dennis & Janice on 59 years of wedded bliss! Wow – what a full, but amazing month it was! To view photos, please click on the web album.
