January gave everyone at Meadow Ridge and Meadow View a chance to catch their breath and rest a bit after the busy Christmas season, but they didn’t rest for long! Folks rang in the New Year with a great spread of food, champagne and a game of Jeopardy, and then they got 2025 started off right with a new activity – “Resident Spotlight”. Jan shared photos, paintings and interesting stories. There were crafts to make and our monthly visit from a four-legged friend from the Sauk County Humane Society. Folks had a ball going out for lunch to Jose’s Mexican Restaurant, and later in the month they took a bus ride on a 50+ degree day to see the sights! A big thank you to the 7th graders from St. Joseph Catholic School who joined us for a fabulous lunch and visit, and to the homeschool group “Double Digits” who played some competitive games of Bingo, Connect Four and UNO!
