What fun to welcome the Sauk County 4-H Junior Leaders Club early in March! The ladies learned how to make spring paper flowers using cupcake liners, pipe cleaners and beads. The Activity Room was full of creativity! The bus took folks out for lunch out at the Broadway Diner in Baraboo, and then for a spin around Devil’s Lake South Shore to see things waking up for spring. For St. Patrick’s Day, Chef Lori from Bekah Kate’s gave a presentation on her trip to Ireland and helped everyone make their own loaf of Irish Soda Bread. Thank you to the American Legion Auxiliary – Unit 26 for delivering handmade Easter gifts to our veterans, and to Housekeeper Ruth for knitting adorable bunnies for prizes for our annual “Bunny Bingo” and Housekeeper/Cook Jennifer for holding a workshop on how to make greeting cards.
