May started out with a Cinco de Mayo party. Everyone enjoyed margaritas, chips and salsa and some fun hats! Folks went to lunch at Pizza Ranch and afterward took a ride on the Merrimac Ferry. Later in the month they drove to Madison to see the Capitol and other sights in the busy city. There were opportunities to spend time with furry friends when Sauk County Humane Society volunteer Stephanie brought in a beautiful Husky and an Australian Shepherd mix, plus Murphy and his kind human, Kathy, stopped by to say hello. A couple of ladies with green thumbs could hardly wait to plant herbs and veggies in the Memory Garden, and others enjoyed hand-eye coordination games that help with motor skills and balance. A big thank you to family members who gifted us with beautiful flowers, lotion, and treats this month. We’re so honored to walk beside you and your loved ones on the aging journey.
