May brought warmer weather, wonderful activities and lots of fun! The ladies on the campus had a special celebration for Mother’s Day that included roses, chocolates, delicious drinks and card. Thanks to community member Jenna for making flower crafts and cards for each of the gals, too! Residents enjoyed the beautiful weather throughout the month by basking in the sun, planting flowers and vegetables, shucking corn, and a cookout lunch for Memorial Day. They were also overjoyed to welcome back Kathy (fully-vaccinated) and her adorable dog Monty for some pet therapy visits. It was a long 13 months without them! Lastly, some of the ladies were thrilled to finally meet their pen pals from the American Heritage Girls Troop WI5217 of Baraboo. Heartfelt thanks to the girls for bringing flowers and homemade cards along with them and for making the trip! What a fantastic month it was. To view photos, please click on the web album.
